PATERSONS ARCH

Tasman Arch to Waterfall Bay

Most visitors on the way to Port Arthur call into The Blowhole and nearby Tasman's Arch and Devils Kitchen.

Adjacent to Devil's Kitchen is the start of the Tasman Trail - a 7 hour walk to Fortescue Bay. A half an hour easy walk will get you to Waterfall Bay. Along the way Paterson's Arch is reached. There are 6 or more lookouts overlooking the ocean cliffs. A very spectacular and highly recommended walk.

The track is a wide pathway. Suitable for prams and wheelchairs - weather permitting. A fairly steep incline in places.

THE WALKWAY IS MOSTLY AWAY FROM THE CLIFF TOPS. LOOKOUTS ARE WELL PROTECTED. CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DEPART FROM THE PATHS.
