The
Meander Falls track is not the only one in the area. Another track to the
falls is via Split Rock. About 1/2 an hour or a little more longer.
The track joins the main track near the falls. It is considerably
difficult at the falls end requiring the need to cross rocky scree and boulders.
Dixons track is also nearby. Further west are Bastion Cascades, Smoko
Falls, Chasm Falls, Sids track,
Higgs Track and many
more.
Walking boots were packed for the
walk but not needed as conditions were dry. Gym boots did the
job and were good for rock climbing around the falls. A
natural mixed forest setting on a track that is generally dry. Some
wet sections after heavy rain. Sturdy walking boots are generally
required. Snow and ice can cover the track in winter months.
