CAPE HAUY

The Tasman Peninsula

Just 6 kilometres before arriving at Port Arthur, there is a gravel road to the left leading to Fortescue Bay 14 kilometres away.  Here three of the great walks on the Tasmania Peninsula start - Cape Pillar. Waterfall Bay and Cape Hauy (pronounces 'Hoy' as in toy)

There are plentiful but basic camping facilities at Fortescue Bay along with a beautiful beach.  The walks commence just to the right of the picnic shelter.
