The Blue Tier -North East Tasmania

After passing through Gould's Country, the road narrows considerably and continues on for another 20 minutes or so to the old tin mining settlement of Piomena.  Here the local community has developed a very well constructed and signposted series of walks.  They are from just a few minutes to a full days duration.  The Tier provides sweeping views to the coast on three sides.  We have highlighted the very easy Goblin Walk here.
