Wild Surf Beaches

Ann Bay, Marrawah.  Home of Tasmania's 'big' surf.  The hill at the end of the bay is Mt Cameron West, an important Aboriginal site.

Mawson Bay looking south from West Point - another Aboriginal Site.  The day we arrived at the end of Spring there were a half a dozen 4WD's on the beach and a dozen or more surfers riding the waves.  They can be seen in the higher resolution version.
