Just
a few kilometres west of Beaconsfield this beautiful fern laden gorge is an
excellent 1 1/2 hour walk (one way). There are basic picnic facilities at
the eastern entrance. The track is a hiking track and is awkward in
places. Like Notley Gorge, the walk out is moderately strenuous,
particularly the western end.
A 15 minute walk from either
end takes you to waterfalls.
The falls at
the eastern end of the walk. 10 minutes from the car park.
From the top
of falls at the western end of the gorge. Again only 10 minutes from
the car park.
LEFT: Another waterfall a further
5 or 10 minutes away. The track descends deep into the gorge.
