GREENS BEACH

Greens Beach and the surrounding area has been a popular holiday destination for locals for many years.  There is an excellent 9 hole golf course, tennis courts and a shop which includes a mini supermarket and take-away's.  There is also a caravan park.  Nearby Kelso also has a caravan park with a convenience store and a pool.

Green's Beach is easily accessible from Beaconsfield and Beauty Point.  Is is about a 12 kilometre drive on a good sealed road.

RIGHT: About half way between Beaconsfield and Green's Beach is the historical site of Yorktown, the second place of European settlement in Australia.  Unfortunately, apart from a few monuments there are little remnants of the site.  The site is at the junction with a gravel road which links up with the Baker's Beach road at the western end of Narawntapu National Park.
