The Second Basin from the track between the First Basin and Duck Reach.  About 2 kilometres from the First Basin.  The bridge to the disused power station museum is just visible on the left just past the bend in the river. There is a car park opposite the Museum.

A track continues on up the hill behind the museum and on to the Trevallyn Recreation Area where a wide range of activities can be found.  The Trevallyn Dam picnic area, Trevallyn Lake Aquatic area, hiking tracks and Archery.

The track passes by the power pylons in the picture which are on the hill known as Deadman's Knob.
